A journal of love, life, and adventure with Mia, my adventure bengal cat.
Being outdoors brings a sense of fulfillment that ultimately leads to happiness. Sometimes, having a cat disincentivizes people from exploring the world.
I would love to inspire and help other cat owners to do more with their cats by sharing our adventures and how I trained Mia to be comfortable with this lifestyle. You and your cat can do it as well!

How I’d train my adventure cat if I were starting from scratch
Video Description
My cat is my adventure buddy. She did not choose this lifestyle but it felt too bad to leave her behind. When I first got her, training together brought me purpose. It helped me wake up every day looking forward to seeing her progress. She helped me cope through loss and isolation. When Covid restrictions eased, I was faced with a choice. Staying indoors with her or going outside and reliving life without her. I did not like any of these options, so I created a 3rd one: Doing more of what I wanted, but never leaving her behind. When we started there was little to information available on traveling with cats and walking cats on a leash. While we’ve come a long way, it still feels hard to find info today. We started iterating and finding what worked. We even started developing the products we needed to do it more comfortably. Our YouTube channel taught thousands to do the same. Fast forward 5 years and she’s never stayed behind. If she can’t go, I’m not going either. Not because she can do everything, but because I’d rather do something she can join than leaving her behind. When I look back I see both the plans we’ve missed vs. what we’ve built, and I’d do it all over again. I’ve put 6 years of real-world adventure condensed into one proven system. If you’d like to train your cat, consider joining the Cat Bootcamp! Don’t settle. Stay wild. Stay safe. I’ll see you outdoors.

My part bengal freaks out whenever another person even knocks on our door. I definitely wouldn't take her out with me. Lucky man. Amazing training. Never seen such a relaxed cat in the outside world!

Of course, even if someone did all these things with their cat from the beginning, it doesn't guarantee their cat would have the right personality for it. Just had to put that out there. 😊
